Latinas are a driving force in America’s economy, powering a $1.3 trillion GDP and contributing to a growing workforce, yet they continue to face persistent barriers to opportunity.
HOPE presents the Economic Status of Latinas National Report, offering a comprehensive analysis of Latinas’ economic realities across the United States. Building on more than a decade of research, including state-level reports in California and New York, this study combines national data with voices from Latinas in California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Illinois.
The findings highlight both the growing economic influence of Latinas and the barriers—such as wage inequality, student debt, and childcare—that continue to limit their full potential. Supporting Latinas, vital drivers of the workforce and small business sector, is essential to ensuring shared prosperity as our nation navigates demographic and economic change.
