New HOPE Report: California Equity in Maternal Health
Black women and Latinas in California face persistent barriers to safe, respectful, and accessible maternal health care. The California Equity in Maternal Health Report—a collaboration between HOPE and Black Women Organized for Political Action (BWOPA-TILE)—uncovers the realities behind these disparities through powerful data and personal experiences from over 800 women across the state. This report is a call to action for policymakers, health systems, and communities to prioritize equitable, culturally competent care for all mothers.

Bringing Community Together
HOPE EducationAt HOPE events, Latinas amplify our collective work to build economic and political power: We learn from one another and find solidarity with our peers. We strengthen our bonds as a community. We celebrate the historic achievements of Latinas, and we mobilize around policies that impact us.

Elevating the Latina Experience
HOPE Data and ResearchBy making the needs and experiences of our communities known, we can better advocate for positive change. That’s why HOPE is dedicated to sharing robust data and research on Latinas nationwide. The trends we reveal and solutions we recommend serve as an important tool for all those working on behalf of Latinas’ health, education, and economic empowerment.
