Through leadership programs, conferences, and civic engagement efforts, including policy advocacy, HOPE advances economic opportunity and strengthens civic leadership with data-informed solutions that create lasting impact across the nation. Rooted in community, HOPE intentionally cultivates spaces where leaders can come together to learn, reflect, and care for one another. In these spaces, individuals share what they are seeing on the ground, build collective understanding, and develop strategies to protect and uplift one another.

As misinformation spreads and challenges grow more complex, HOPE is focused on delivering trusted resources and accurate information to stay informed, safe, and empowered.
Programs & Leadership Development
HOPE’s leadership programs build community power by supporting the development of transformative leadership skills, connecting changemakers to educational and leadership opportunities, and strengthening civic and economic life for all communities. Through conferences, fellowships, and civic engagement initiatives, HOPE inspires action, fosters networks, and equips individuals to create positive, lasting change across sectors.
In 2025, HOPE alumnae made history by advancing policies that protect immigrant communities and families in California, while contributing to a growing network of leaders driving lasting impact nationwide.
Policy & Advocacy Driving Lasting Change
HOPE advances policy solutions that strengthen communities and expand equal opportunity. Through our Policy Agenda, we focus on four priority areas—Civic Engagement and Representation, Economic Opportunity, Educational Access, and Healthcare Access—using data-driven insights to address disparities and drive change.
We advance these goals by shaping state policy, engaging in the state budget process to promote fair investments, and building strong coalitions to elevate shared priorities. This work complements our leadership programs by equipping changemakers with the networks and resources they need to advocate for their communities and create lasting impacts at local, state, and national levels.
Research & Data Insights
HOPE conducts nonpartisan research and develops data-driven insights that highlight Latinas’ economic and leadership contributions and the broader impact of shared prosperity. Our findings inform policymakers, business leaders, and communities, support initiatives like the California State Legislature’s Unseen Latinas Initiative, and shape national conversations through media and legislative briefings. This research helps ensure that leadership pathways, economic opportunities, and public institutions better reflect the communities they serve.
