HOPE’s Regional Hubs
Introducing HOPE’s Regional Hubs
HOPE’s Regional Hubs are a movement rooted in local leadership, bringing together local networks through quarterly meetings to advance bold policy solutions across California.
Building on HOPE’s 35-year history of empowering Latina leaders across California and beyond, the HOPE Regional Hubs creates powerful, localized advocacy networks. By convening HOPE alumnae from across our programs, these Hubs will coordinate collective advocacy to address systemic barriers in healthcare, education, civic engagement, and economic mobility. Regional Hubs will serve as convening spaces for local action, collaboration, and power-building, working to increase Latina representation in government, nonprofit leadership, and business, while strengthening the HOPE network. The initiative will activate key alumnae groups in Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, the Bay Area, Central Valley, San Diego, and Imperial Counties.

Why Regional Hubs Matter
Latinas are essential to California’s future, yet they remain vastly underrepresented in positions of power. According to HOPE’s 2024 Economic Status of Latinas report, despite being a driving force in business, education, and civic life, Latinas hold just 3.3% of corporate board seats, only 9% of state appointments, and make up a small fraction of California’s congressional delegation. While progress has been made in state-level representation, gaps remain especially in national leadership and high-impact decision-making roles.
HOPE Regional Hubs are a direct response to this need by creating local spaces where Latinas can lead, organize, and advocate for equitable representation and policy change. These Hubs harness the power of HOPE alumnae to advance bold policy solutions and increase Latina representation across government, business, and civic leadership.

Regional Hubs in Action
The HOPE Regional Hubs will meet quarterly in person, with virtual gatherings as needed to respond to timely advocacy opportunities. HOPE will support each region by:
- Facilitating consensus around key local policy issues
- Supporting resource sharing and peer learning
- Promoting Latina appointments to boards, commissions, and leadership roles
- Strengthening coalitions with partners and community stakeholders
Each Hub will serve as a collaborative leadership space, designed for continued growth, learning, and action.
Each Quarterly Hub Meeting will be tailored to the region's priorities and current advocacy opportunities.
