Next year's Latina History Day Conference will be Friday, March 9th, 2018

  

The 26th Annual Latina History Day Conference sold out to over 800 attendees! The Latina History Day Conference, for which Latina History Day in California was created, brought over 800 attendees to celebrate the historic accomplishments of Latinas and presented workshops on career advancement, issues impacting the Latino community, and personal empowerment. Cornerstones of the conference included inspiring keynote speakers Geisha J. Williams of PG&E Corporation and Candice Campos of Lucasfilm, and a moving performance from singer Rebekah Del Rio. The Comadre Network & Exhibit Area provided conference participants with an afternoon of networking with some of California’s most successful Latinas.

Latina Future History Makers

HOPE and The Estee Lauder Companies partnered together to honor the accomplishment of future history making Latinas in local communities. The honorees foster a unique spirit of passion, posses a vision that brings communities together, or charts a new path of discovery. As “Future History Makers,” these Latinas strive for excellence and deliver their best efforts towards being positive role models and creating change.
