HOPE provides internship opportunities throughout the year to college students and some high school. Space and availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. HOPE will consider remote interns for research project and data management projects.

d. Indicate if you will receive school credit for the work or pay through work-study or other program.
Compensation:
Internships are voluntary positions with no compensation. HOPE will reimburse parking for up to $7 a day for interns putting in 6 hours or more per visit or reimburse public transportation. Depending on the internship period, interns can staff leadership training sessions, conferences and other programming.
Environment:
HOPE is a high output, fast paced work environment with dynamic and experienced staff that are dedicated to the empowerment of Latinas. We have a business casual dress code. Hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
HOPE is looking for energetic & effective volunteers to be a part of our conferences. Volunteer opportunities are specific to the following events:
Latina History Day- March 12th, 2010
Latina Action Day- April 21st, 2010
Volunteer roles range from assisting with participant registration, workshop set-up or assisting with assembling conference materials.
