HOPE is looking for energetic & effective volunteers to be a part of our conferences. Volunteer opportunities are specific to the following events:
Latina History Day - March 9, 2018
HOPE provides internship opportunities throughout the year to college students and some high school students. Space and availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. HOPE will consider remote interns for research project and data management projects.
Conferences and Events Intern
Conferences and Events interns work closely with the Conferences and Events Manager on HOPE’s conferences. They will gain knowledge, ability, and skills relating to registrations and conference logistics by assisting in the planning, co-ordination of details, and communications of assigned conferences or events.
Programs and Public Policy Intern
Public Policy Interns work with the Programs and Policy Director on HOPE’s advocacy and policy platform in the areas of health care, education, economic empowerment, and civic participation. Interns will gain analytical writing and re-search skills.
Social Media and Communications Intern
Social Media and Communications Interns work with the Conference and Marketing Associate on HOPE’s social media strategy. Interns will assist with the development and implementation of HOPE’s social media strategy utilizing plat-forms such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
Youth Programs Intern
Youth Program Interns work with the Youth Program Manager to assist in the planning, development and execution of HOPE’s youth programs, HOPE Youth Leadership Program and HOPE College Leadership Program.

This is an unpaid intern position with reimbursement for parking/public transportation. Opportunity for school credit is available. Access to hope events and activities will be available during the internship term.
HOPE is a high output, fast paced work environment with dynamic and experienced staff that are dedicated to the empowerment of Latinas. We have a business casual dress code. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
