Carl Fogliani is the owner of Fogliani Strategies, a political consulting firm and currently serves as Chief of Staff to Assemblyman Greg Aghazarian. Mr. Fogliani previously served as Director of the Assembly Republican Caucus and Senior Consultant for Assembly Republican Leader Dave Cox. Mr. Fogliani left the Caucus to join Aghazarian's campaign in 2001. Prior to joining the Caucus, he served as Chief of Staff to State Assemblyman Russ Bogh and successfully managed Bogh's special election campaigns in the Inland Empire. Before his efforts on behalf of Assemblyman Bogh, Mr. Fogliani served as Campaign Manager for Bay Area Senator Richard K. Rainey in 2000.
Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Fogliani started his career in politics as a volunteer in U.S. Senator Rick Santorum's campaign for U.S. Congress in 1990. After this experience, he became a Republican youth activist and was elected Vice President of the University of Pittsburgh College Republicans and Membership Chairman of the Young Republicans of Allegheny County where he tripled membership in both organizations.
